Shamanic Tools and Artifacts Workshop: Creating and Using Sacred Tools

Discover the art of crafting and working with shamanic tools in this hands-on workshop. Learn how to infuse everyday objects with spiritual power, transforming them into sacred tools for healing and connection. This session is perfect for those looking to deepen their shamanic practice or start creating tools of their own.

In this workshop, we’ll dive into:

• Setting sacred space: Learn the basics of casting a circle to do shamanic work.
• The significance of shamanic witchcraft tools: Explore the purpose and energy behind drums, rattles, and other sacred objects.
• Infusing tools with spiritual power: Practice techniques to consecrate and empower your tools for spiritual work.
• Introduction to Shamanic Witchcraft Rattling: Practicing and understanding the rhythms that lead to trance states.
• Creating shamanic witchcraft altars: Learn how to create sacred spaces and craft shamanic witchcraft altars that support your spiritual practice and intention work.
• Practical applications: Using your tools for journeying, healing, and connecting with the earth.
• Ecstatic Dance: Practice ecstatic dance to achieve trance states.

Activities include consecrating a shamanic tool and engaging in guided practices to use these tools for personal and planetary healing. Join us to unlock the transformative power of shamanic artifacts!

Please bring the following to our workshop session

• Rattle: Get or make a rhythmic noisemaker made of natural materials, whenever possible. For example: a wooden egg shaker, gourd maraca, or nut shell or bean rattle - something light that you can hold in one hand.
• Herb Bundle: Bring a smudge or herb bundle to consecrate your rattle. (If you can not tolerate smoke, make a spray from salt water in an atomizer bottle.)
• Matches or Lighter: to light the herb bundle.
• Firesafe Bowl or Cauldron: where you can place your smoldering herb bundle.
• Taper or Tealight Candle: A small taper that you will light - Check out the tealights or thick or slim taper at the Parlour of Wonders for an example.
• Snuffer or Moistened Fingers: For respectfully extinguishing your candle.
• A Small Snack or Herbal Tea: For grounding after our work
• Space for Movement: For our ecstatic dance practice
