• A petition paper with a written statement of what you want to clear or open
• Matches or a lighter

Note: A Dressed and Blessed Van Van Beeswax Vigil Candle comes with oil and herbs already applied. If getting the plain candle, add the following:

• Van Van Oil by Madame Pamita
• A small pinch of herbs to sprinkle on the top, such as Lemongrass Powder or Cinnamon Powder.

The Spell:

Begin by cleansing your sacred space and centering yourself. If you are dressing the plain candle, remove the candle from the glass and dress it on top and sides with a few drops of Van Van Oil while visualizing negativity clearing away, obstacles dissolving, and positive energy flowing freely to you. Replace the candle back into the glass.

Place your petition paper with your written statement of what you wish to clear or open on a heat-safe surface and place the vigil candle in its glass on top of the paper. If you're using herbs, sprinkle a very small pinch of them on top of the candle.

Light the candle and speak your intention aloud, being specific about what you want to clear or open. For example: "Negativity is cleared. Obstacles dissolve. My path is open. Good luck flows to me. Positive energy surrounds me. New opportunities come easily. My luck has turned around. I am blessed with good fortune." Visualize negativity clearing away like clouds parting, obstacles dissolving, and positive energy and opportunities flowing to you as the candle burns.

Burn the candle daily while it is safe to do so, focusing on your intention each time you light it. When the spell is complete, respectfully dispose of the spell remains while saying "This spell is complete."
