Note: A Dressed and Blessed Smooth Separation Beeswax Vigil Candle comes with oil and herbs already applied. If getting the plain candle, add the following:

• Smooth Separation Oil by Madame Pamita
• A small pinch of herbs to sprinkle on the top, such as Clove Powder, Lemongrass Powder, or Peppermint Powder.

The Spell:

Begin by cleansing your sacred space and centering yourself. If you are dressing the plain candle, remove the candle from the glass and dress it on top and sides with a few drops of Smooth Separation Oil while visualizing the relationship or situation dissolving peacefully, with both parties moving on gracefully without conflict. Replace the candle back into the glass.

Place your petition paper with your written statement of the separation you wish to create on a heat-safe surface and place the vigil candle in its glass on top of the paper. If you're using herbs, sprinkle a very small pinch of them on top of the candle.

Light the candle and speak your intention aloud, being specific about the separation you want to create. For example: "[Name] and [Name] part ways peacefully. Interest fades. Emotions cool.
