Discover the Magic of Makosh, Slavic Mother Goddess

Meet Makosh, the great Slavic mother goddess of earth, water, fertility, fate, abundance, and women's traditional crafts. In this workshop replay, Madame Pamita explores Makosh as both fertile earth and divine weaver, then shares grounded ways to honor her through soil, water, thread, handcrafts, and attentive participation in the cycles that sustain life.

More Info

Makosh is a powerful mother figure whose domains connect the natural world with domestic and creative life. She nurtures the soil, brings life-giving moisture, protects fertility, and spins the threads of fate. Her presence survives in traditions surrounding weaving, spinning, embroidery, sacred cloths, harvest, planting, wells, rain, and the observance of Friday as a day of respect. She reminds us that abundance is cultivated through care, patience, skill, and relationship with the earth.
