In this immersive Zoom workshop, we’ll explore tasseography—the art of reading the shapes, trails, and symbols left in a cup after drinking coffee. You’ll learn how to prepare a reading, recognize meaningful patterns, and turn scattered images into a clear, grounded message. Can’t make it live? A recording will be sent to all who register.

Coffee-ground reading transforms an everyday ritual into a conversation with intuition. From the rim of the cup to the deepest sediment, placement, direction, density, and the relationship between symbols all contribute to the story. We’ll work step by step so you can approach a cup with structure as well as imagination.

What You’ll Learn:

• The Roots of Coffee Divination: Explore the history of tasseography and the traditions that developed around reading coffee grounds.
• Preparing the Cup: Learn how to prepare coffee and cup, focus the question, drink with intention, and turn the cup for a reading.
• Mapping the Cup: Understand how the rim, middle, base, handle, and directional zones can shape meaning and timing.
• Symbols and Patterns: Recognize figures, letters, numbers, paths, clusters, and empty spaces without relying on a rigid symbol list.
• Timing and Movement: Read distance, direction, size, and placement for clues about when and how an influence may unfold.
• Reading the Whole Story: Practice combining individual signs into a coherent, ethical message that answers the question being asked.

Whether you’re new to cup reading or want to bring more structure to an intuitive practice, this workshop will give you a practical method for finding meaning in the rich visual language of coffee grounds.
