- A petition paper with a written statement of the commitment you want to create
- Matches or a lighter
Note: A Dressed and Blessed Faithful Marriage Beeswax Vigil Candle comes with oil and herbs already applied. If getting the plain candle, add the following:
- Faithful Marriage Oil by Madame Pamita
- A small pinch of herbs to sprinkle on the top, such as Violet Leaf Powder, Rose Petal Powder, or Quassia Root Powder.
The Spell:
Begin by cleansing your sacred space and centering yourself. If you are dressing the plain candle, remove the candle from the glass and dress it on top and sides with a few drops of Faithful Marriage Oil while visualizing your relationship filled with commitment, honesty, and deep devotion. Replace the candle back into the glass.
Place your petition paper with your written statement of the commitment you wish to create on a heat-safe surface and place the vigil candle in its glass on top of the paper. If you're using herbs, sprinkle a very small pinch of them on top of the candle.
Light the candle and speak your intention aloud, being specific about the commitment you want to invite. For example: "Our love is faithful and true. [Name] and [Name] are committed to each other. We are devoted and honest. Our bond grows stronger each day. We are faithful in heart and action. This commitment is lasting and deep."
