Cats have lived beside humans while retaining an unmistakable independence. Their night vision, silence, sensitivity, and boundary-setting have inspired stories of protection, prophecy, witchcraft, luck, and the supernatural. We’ll separate folklore from responsible practice and consider what cats can teach us about magical presence.

What You’ll Learn:

• Cats in Magical History: Explore deities, temple cats, household guardians, witchcraft lore, and changing attitudes toward cats.
• Omens and Folklore: Examine beliefs about cat colors, behavior, dreams, weather, luck, death, and unseen presences.
• Cats as Familiars: Understand the difference between an animal companion, a spiritual familiar, and symbolic cat energy.
• Protection and the Home: Work with cat imagery, whiskers or shed fur, footprints, and guardian symbolism ethically.
• Lessons in Magical Boundaries: Learn from feline attention, rest, stealth, curiosity, consent, and energetic discernment.
• Honoring Cats: Create blessings, memorials, altars, and protective practices centered on cats.
